    Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process.
    Yes, Group Discussion was a part of selection process.

    Q. What was your topic for Group Discussion?
    We were given a case study

    Q. What was the duration of Group Discussion, Size of the Group, Number of Panelists, etc.
    Duration – 20 min, 8 people, 2 panelist

    Q. Were there any set norms for Group Discussion?
    No

    Q. Please provide a brief about your Group Discussion experience.
    It was an enriching experience and my group was very cordial and we discussed the case by giving everyone a chance to speak and thus came up with good solutions.

    Q. How was the environment during Group Discussion?
    It was cordial and professional.

    Q. Describe your impression of your team members and overall Group Discussion Process?
    I varied group with two entrepreneurs, I appreciated the points that my team mates came up with. Overall, I had a good impression of the group.

    Q. How would you rate your performance in Group Discussion (On a scale of 10) ?

    Q. Areas where you could have performed better in your Group Discussion?
    I could have taken the initiative and started the discussion.

    Q. Give some handy tips regarding Group Discussion or Group Exercise that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
    Articulating is very important, so one should frame their thoughts before speaking. Listen to others carefully; this may trigger some of the new ideas.

    Interview-related Questions

    Q. How did you prepare for the interview?
    My institute teacher took 3-4 mock interviews, made me prepare the potential questions and answers.

    Q. How many interview calls did you get and from which institutes? How many and which ones of these could you actually convert to a final call?
    I got a call from Great Lakes and was able to convert it.

    Q. Date and location of Interview. Were you given the option to choose the date and place for interview? Was the interview date fixed or re-scheduled couple of times? Was the interview venue changed or scheduled as per your convenience?
    The date and location of my interview was 27th February, Nehru Place, Delhi. No, it was not rescheduled and the initial venue was as per my convenience.

    Q. Can you tell us about the panel that interviewed you?
    Panel consisted of 2 professors.

    Q. How long was your interview?
    15 minutes

    Q. What kind of questions were you asked? Were they specific to any particular area?
    They asked me about my hobbies and my future aspirations.

    Q. What were the first question, the most interesting question, and the most difficult question?
    First Question: Tell us something about yourself.
    Interesting Question: They puzzled me by giving a case and asking my plan of action had I been the CEO.
    Most difficult question: Lesson that you have learnt from your favorite book.

    Q. While facing the panel, were you confident, did you feel prepared?
    I was confident about answers

    Q. Write a brief about your Interview experience.
    The panel was very supporting, they asked me to be comfortable and said that it is a procedure to know each other. It wasn’t a stress interview and atmosphere was very genial.

    Q. Was any feedback given to you? What feedback did you receive from the panel at the end of session?
    They said that I have performed well, and wished me luck for my future endeavors.

    I could have learned some quotes from my favorite books.

    Q. Give some handy tips regarding interview that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
    Be yourself, don’t try to fake. Admitting that one does not know an answer would be better than blabbering something irrelevant.
