‘Balaji Institute Of Modern Management formerly known as IIMM , is a decade old management institute and is proud of her achievements. BIMM , run by Sri Balaji Society is governed by our President, Prof. (Col.) A. Balasubramanian. He is also the Executive Director of BIMM. We are proud of our full time faculties and veterans from the industry who are fully involved in the training/ grooming process of our students. BIMM today stands tall amongst the best B schools in the country.
This is proved from the fact that a large number of companies from all over India are recruiting our students and many more of them have provided project studies. Army headquarters also allow their officers to pursue our two year full time PGDM (PM & HRD) program on study leave. All the PGDM programs offered by the institute, and for that matter the entire society, are of equal status and at the time of placements also the companies look at them with an open mind in terms of status. Nevertheless, it should be noted that each individual is a different and unique entity with his / her own strengths and weaknesses which will determine their performance/ placements ultimately.

Selection Procedure
Written Examination
We accept CAT/MAT scores. However, as CAT /MAT scores are issued to the students any student who has appeared for the CAT/MAT examinations can apply for our courses with the CAT/MAT scores. Thus, all the four Management institutes will accept CAT/MAT scores. However, the MAT scores will be equalized and validated to the CAT score value and that will only be counted for the purpose of merit list. Anyone having any objection to the same, need not to apply. We do not believe in any cut-off points as we give 30%of the weightage for the entrance exam,f or the merit list.
Essay Writing
Written Communication Skill is very important for any one to succeed in the industry as Business Communication form an essential part of the managerial function. Therefore, the applicants will be required to appear for an essay writing exercise on a subject, which will be given on the spot. This will be for 20 marks and 50% of the weightage of the marks obtained by the candidate will be counted for the merit list. This will be for half an hour. The topics will be general in nature and any one who follows the National Newspapers can easily appear in the same and score good marks.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussions by experts. This will be for a duration of 30-50mins per group. This may include role play, case studies and extempore speech and GD. 40% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. Therefore the GD process may extend to the second day although all efforts will be made to complete the process in one day. This is an elimination round.
This expert panel interview will carry 30 % of the weightage. This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialisation.
